Winning Football: More Games Are Lost Than Won

Most games are lost through lack of fundamental execution, lack of discipline, or the inability to finish.

Most games in the NFL are lost, not won. How? It comes down to these three keys:

  1. Lack of fundamental execution
  2. Lack of discipline
  3. Lack of ability to finish

Most games are won in the league by not losing. By pressuring the opponent with EXECUTION, PHYSICALITY, and STAMINA until they crack and lose the game.

Some games are won by WINNING through DECISIVE playmaking. This is usually required against the teams that don’t beat themselves.

But when both occur, blowouts happen.

Build these abilities in your process:

  1. Train to play decisive, so that we can play bold and sound football.
  2. Give away NOTHING. Don’t LOSE the game for them.
  3. Make the most of every situation and opportunity.
  4. Pressure your opponent from start to finish on every play — they’ll crack.
  5. Get great at executing PLAYMAKING.
